Not that I know either way but I'd find it hard to believe that bugfixes would get hidden behind the R+ subscription. If one person has Reason 11 and paid outright for it, and another person has Reason 11 and pays for it via R+ subscription then both individuals have the same product. They're just paying for it in different ways. RS then fix a bug found in Reason 11 and all owners of Reason 11 get access to an update that fixes said bug.EnochLight wrote: ↑16 Feb 2021No, it's been mentioned already that RS is working on a maintenance update to fix it, and I'm fairly certain it'll get sent down the stable channel for perpetual license holders that were affected. But had this bug happened 12 months from now, for perpetual license holders that bought a license after the announcement of R+, I'd say that's a very good question.
Maybe RS/James Pember can clarify...
Let's hope Apple decides it wants to incorporate a rack style set of features into Logic in the near future and they decide to buy out ReasonStudios sack all the executives chunk loads of money at the development and leave the coders to actually make it work better rather than diversify its user base with some convoluted subscription service based on internet influencers notions of current trends. I mean come on emo rap
I doubt Apple would continue to diversify the Reason user base even to include us Windows usersBilly+ wrote: ↑16 Feb 2021Let's hope Apple decides it wants to incorporate a rack style set of features into Logic in the near future and they decide to buy out ReasonStudios sack all the executives chunk loads of money at the development and leave the coders to actually make it work better rather than diversify its user base with some convoluted subscription service based on internet influencers notions of current trends.
I try not to think about Windows user, feel to much like work been an MCP MCDST for years.....orthodox wrote: ↑16 Feb 2021I doubt Apple would continue to diversify the Reason user base even to include us Windows usersBilly+ wrote: ↑16 Feb 2021Let's hope Apple decides it wants to incorporate a rack style set of features into Logic in the near future and they decide to buy out ReasonStudios sack all the executives chunk loads of money at the development and leave the coders to actually make it work better rather than diversify its user base with some convoluted subscription service based on internet influencers notions of current trends.

Jesus, if I spent half as much time throwing salt at something I never planned to buy, I'd never have time to actually sit down and produce music.
I"m amazed that you can still make music with such a deeply flawed and bug-ridden software!moneykube wrote: ↑16 Feb 2021how about 12 months support starting when the current version functions as it should without a multitude of bugs that never should have been a thing... and not support as a way and means to find and correct bugs in their coding( that IS what beta testing is for > correct?)... but true support >>>which should imo be perpetual and not for a limited time.( if indeed they address the support question in a timely manner... which is not often the case) Wow... so we get 12 months of support from purchase date with a flawed program...that is just another slap in the face.....fix the 4 or more "current bugs" and then perhaps12 month support ( although most companies offer support for their products in a much more generous way)
Another step backward imo.SMH
What a nice attitude.
I think so. Thanks!
And yet it's been that way for many, many years - as well as many other DAW. I didn't see you complaining then. Why now? Ah, because comparing a completely optional sub service to some fantasy Marxist socialist nightmare is a great comparison. Got it.
Following this release history, if i bought each new version on release day, was support immediately cut off at day 366 between versions:EnochLight wrote: ↑16 Feb 2021And yet it's been that way for many, many years - as well as many other DAW. I didn't see you complaining then.
Obscurantism? Lmao - try again, man. My point was RS (Propellerhead then) has offered "only" 1 year - that's 12 months - of support for well over a decade for perpetual licenses. You're pretending that the introduction of Reason+ (offering support as long as you sub) compared to perpetual licenses only offering 12 months of support is a new thing or never existed. That's patently false, and the fact that people are making it a thing right now proves how laughably how out of touch people are with reality.sprinkles__ wrote: ↑16 Feb 2021Following this release history, if i bought each new version on release day, was support immediately cut off at day 366 between versions:

No. I don't think so. So why the obscurantism? What's your game?
4.No warranty. The Software is being delivered to you AS IS and Propellerhead Software makes no warranty other than that the Software shall conform to the specifications in the documentation during a warranty period of twelve month from delivery.
Buh bye!
Don't like being shown up? Enoch just used facts to prove you wrong. Absolute insanity.sprinkles__ wrote: ↑16 Feb 2021god you're stupid
this forum has the absolute worst moderators i've ever seen, snarky, always on the attack when they don't like being shown up. ferk this.
delete this post like you do with the others. it's the last i'm going to be making here so you might as well remove me from memory.
I have a friend that's even considering coming back to Reason because of Reason+. I think that most people here are out of touch with reality and don't realize that many people have actually been waiting for this, like myself.EnochLight wrote: ↑16 Feb 2021Clearly R+ is a success judging from all of the salt that users are throwing at it - by users who have no intention of ever subscribing.
