So why is it the default audioformat when exporting on PC AIF now?
Please default WAV on PC once again.

In this context I just realised we can export to mp3 now, though, coming from Reason 7 to 12, this could have already been impletemented quite a while ago.
The default export is a known issue which is being addressed.

MP3 export was added in Reason 11

I feel the same... I've seen people flagging this for a while now, I just don't get it... One would think that its quite a simple fix to do...

:-) Thank you for posting the link. Actually only knew it in German from back in the days. Makes much more sense in English.

Dragging devices from the browser to the rack or to a shortcut sometimes freezes the whole UI (playback continues) for seconds or even up to minutes in the worse case. I had hopes that this would have been fixed by now, really annoying when it happens.

I get the same crash/bug. I'm used to just dragging stuff over to the rack (presets, instruments, etc) now I'm more cautious about it. I hit the "load" button or whatever button pops up on the bottom of the media browser as opposed to dragging to prevent the crash - not as fast or intuitive tho.

Yep it's the new Drag & Freeze feature that every time you drag a device or preset into the rack it freezes up. I have to force quit sometimes or just wait it out. So annoying...

Maybe it should prevent you to stay too long in front of your computer and make some breaks from time to time

Sounds like they've not quite understood our track freeze requests ;)

I though I was the only one with rack freeze when dragging new devices, "happy" to hear I'm not.
Please report it if you haven't, it's a really debilitating bug.

Thanks, I just assumed it was a known bug to them. I've now reported it in the beta (the known bug list is not shared with testers).

Could also not drag rack devices from browser from time to time since first release of 12 or under heavy mouse sliding, but mostly in the second rack collum it works...

"Drag and Freeze" sounds like a terrible feature. It's not even alliterative.

I'm so freaking done with Reason, I'm having the exact same issue. Stuff just hangs up constantly, I'm considering just reverting back to R11. The final straw for me is not being able to even open Reason. What a huge disappointment, those guys aren't ever getting another dollar from me again.

I would go back to an older version until Reason 12 is actually ready. It will spare you the frustration...

R12 is a bit like Jaws 4,

dubbed the most serious of the franchise but turns out to be the biggest joke with a story full of holes

I got R12 as a free upgrade. If I'd paid £200 for it (or whatever they're gouging us for it now) I'd be very annoyed indeed.
