Is there a way to adjust notelengths (for all selected) so, that the previous note will be cut before the next note starts?

No, you can't really shorten notes like that. But you can lengthen them. So what you can do is shorten the notes till you are sure that previous notes don't touch the following, and then use the "abut" setting in the "legato adjustments" from the tool window.

If i remember correctly, the tool window was introduced in R4. It had legato adjustments. The Abut function was added in 5.stratatonic wrote: F**k, how long has that been there?!!??
