Copy pattern to track.

Just wondered if there was anybody out there that might be able to help me with this. There are so many awesome pattern sequencers rack extensions but none of them that i have seen add this feature accept props versions. So is there a way to run these with cv to a thor or something that could capture the midi and record it. Was hoping there was a guru around that might know how to do it. I wish RE creators would add this feature as it is so useful. I would think that propellerhead would encourage this considering it would pump sales. As there are many of these pattern sequencers i havent purchased because of this. I would so love to see me be able to do this with auto theory also.

Sweet yes and this should work also with the pattern sequencers i believe i would just have a use a cv splitter to run to the midi then to the instrument. Hopefully there isnt any delay or it would kinda mess everything up. Still it would be nice to see RE's have a way to do this simple with one click. Would be nice to right click on auto theory and just click copy pattern to track. Thank you so much for this link

I would try splitting the gate output from the back of each Propulsion channel (1-16 or however many you use). It would go for example Channel 1 Gate Output Propulsion -> Spider Split A -> Split A Output 1 -> Gate In EMI and your Split A Output 2 -> Kong or ReDrum or whatever else you are triggering. I haven't tried this personally but in theory it should work.

Hey bro, I've been researching this thread for a couple days and see that Tick Tick sequencer does a great job with this & has a great tutorial in its manual on how to do this. It also allows you to change the desired midi channel, effectively letting u decide which lane you'd like to have the recorded notes to track. It seems to be the easiest to incorporate of the pattern devices, since it requires no additional REs (only the EMI). I am trying to figure out how to achieve similar results with Propulsion (without having to setup an EMI per sound)
