One key triggering a predefined sequence

I asked this ages ago and the wiring of this was way above me.

If there a rack extension that can do this now? - I'm looking for something where I can record a sequence with all the expression and note length I want and be able to trigger it from the keyboard. I'm not talking about sampling. Something where it will change the sequence key in relation to the octave I choose.
