Audio from Mattias's Reason is glitchy, just like last week

Oh dear, strange issues... Maybe the beta Reason doesn't handle whatever livestreaming routing solutions they're using.
The sound from the audio to midi was stunning

That modulation the substractor is doing after the audio to midi magic, can all that be CV outed (from the Sub), or is part of the track as midi data?ryanharlin wrote:Yeah! Of course! I do love me some Reasontalk.selig wrote:Nice shout-out for ReasonTalk - thanks guys!

It's not midi data - it's the patch's way of responding to envelope note duration and velocity (based on waveform amplitude).bxbrkrz wrote:That modulation the substractor is doing after the audio to midi magic, can all that be CV outed (from the Sub), or is part of the track as midi data?ryanharlin wrote:Yeah! Just watched the video of the livestream. Both streams have been enjoyable. I like the dynamic interaction, and humour, combined with usefull stuff. Many thanks for doing these. It means a lot and are very inspiring. Looking forward to see it live next wednesday when going through the new soundbank.
Thanks for staying longer after working through the streaming issues. It turned out great! Another fun and very informative stream(s)!ryanharlin wrote:Yeah! Of course! I do love me some Reasontalk.selig wrote:Nice shout-out for ReasonTalk - thanks guys!
Was glad the vast majority of viewers were understanding and there were very few people being dramatic. Which shows that folks really appreciate the effort of what you're doing and really enjoy the interaction and conversation. Looking forward to next week! And I hope there are some things planned in the future to follow

Well I don't want to over promise and then under deliver but I've suggested to PH that perhaps we should set up a standard practice that the day after one of my tutorials drops I get on a stream to talk through the technique with people and answer the many questions that come up in the 24 hours after one of those comes out.joeyluck wrote:And I hope there are some things planned in the future to follow
So we might try and and see if people tune in and get something valuable out of it.
Nice idea. I'd very much welcome that. Although I think that the image quality of the stream and the recording I can watch afterward is something that needs to be improved significantly. The quality of the stream imho doesn't reflect the quality of the product being shown..ryanharlin wrote:Well I don't want to over promise and then under deliver but I've suggested to PH that perhaps we should set up a standard practice that the day after one of my tutorials drops I get on a stream to talk through the technique with people and answer the many questions that come up in the 24 hours after one of those comes out.joeyluck wrote:And I hope there are some things planned in the future to follow

Yeah we might try different platforms too. Facebook offers us a lot of no-brainer social features and ways of reaching our audience but the resolution isn't what I'd like. So yeah... believe me, nobody needs to tell the video guy the importance of quality. I agree 100%eauhm wrote:Although I think that the image quality of the stream and the recording I can watch afterward is something that needs to be improved significantly. Yeah youtube and twitch are our other contenders. But people still tend to live on Facebook all day long so the ability to catch people's attention is highly tempting. But for the tutorials, since they publish to Youtube then doing the stream via Youtube makes sense. But Twitch is also a really cool platform and might be a cool way to connect to new people. Not sure. But I'm considering all options.pushedbutton wrote:https://www.youtube.com/live_dashboard_splash

Personally my Youtube notifications get more immediate attention than my Facebook notifications, but you do have to opt in to get them.

Well with Facebook, if you simply like a page or friend a person, their live videos will show up in your news feed. If you have liked Propellerhead's Facebook page, you will need to unfollow them in order for it to not appear in your news feed. So I can understand the benefit of Facebook. Many people do live there.
