You’ll need to pick up the Jan 2017 issue / issue 238 of Computer Music to read more about these and the other winners. Here are the one’s most relevant to Reason:
“DAW of the year”
While Computer Music awarded Ableton Live 9.5 as the DAW of the Year, they recognized Reason 9 as the 1st runner-up! They gave Reason 9 a score of 4.5/5 in their review back in August stating, “Players are brilliant. Pitch Edit is excellent. Fantastic new presets. Pulsar is great fun. Per-clip edit modes helpful.” Read the entire Reason 9 review here: http://www.musicradar.com/reviews/tech/ ... n-9-641042
“Innovation of the year”
Computer Music awarded kiloHearts Multipass as the Innovation of the year!
While we don’t have Multipass in Reason, we do have all the great kHs plugins used in Multipass! And we have access to much of the same capabilities by using Combinators and multiband processing with available band splitters.

“Virtual emulation of the year”
Audiorealism’s ABL3 was awarded virtual emulation of the year by Computer Music!
And Reason users had it first! Check it out here: https://shop.propellerheads.se/product/ ... -bassline/
Congrats to all the winners!
Computer Music Awards 2016
Not sure if The Legend was in the running this year or if it will be in the running next year... There were no runner-ups for 'Emulation of the year.' It was reviewed in this same issue though receiving a 9/10

Really glad to see Reason getting some attention - the number of people I speak to in day to day working life who still don't know Reason is a full DAW now is just staggering. Here's hoping that PH keep the focus squarely on Reason now, for 9.5 and beyond!!

Congrats again! It really is an incredible achievement! And on top of the fact that you all ported everything to Reason and Pro Tools within the same year!Anders_kiloHearts wrote:This makes me all inside.joeyluck wrote:Pick up the Jan 2017 issue / issue 238 to read about them all.
