So, I had a 1.59 GB Reason file because I bounced several tracks to audio. The midi is above the first audio file:
I then copied and pasted the tracks into a reason song. No midi. 1.56 gB file size.
Then I cut out a bunch of audio that wasn't going to be needed:
Result: a 1.56 gB reason file. Thought I would have saved something! Nothing.
Cut and pasted into another new song. And sluiced out over half of my audio :
Result: 1.39 gB
Ok, I admit I wasn't expecting that. I would have assumed a halving of the file size. Is there something I can do to reduce the file size after a bounce?
.
How to reduce Reason file size after bouncing.
