Where does reason find KOMPLETE installation
I used all the default places during install

You'll have to add the Native Instruments VST plugin path to Reason's list of plugin folders in the Reason preferences. On Windows, that's "C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\VSTPlugins 64 bit" by default (not sure what it is on Mac, but shouldn't be too hard to find).
