Macbook Pro M1 fan noise?

Hi,

I've tried out Reason 12 on my wife's Macbook Air M1 - sounds great, no noise (because it has no fan). But I'm considering buying the MacBook Pro M1 for the better performance level. But the MBP M1 does have a fan, though I believe it's far better and quieter than older MBPs.

Anyone here have an MacBook Pro M1? What's the fan noise like? Does it come on much, if so, how loud does it get?

I’ve had an M1 Pro for the last 3mo running R11 Suite and R12. Fans have not come on once. Even the projects that would have my 2015 15” humming like an old car engine have not started the fans. And I’m sure once it’s M1 native it will get much better.

Never heard the fan of my new M1 MacBook even with bigger reason projects and rosetta.

Just a quick note to point out that apple are making some more product announcements very soon, (March 8th I think) so it might be worth hanging back to see what extra you'll get for your money. I'm hoping for a new model mac mini powerhouse but will have to see what appears.
