Mute Track - but leave midi in open

Hi guys,

i may mute a track in track window. The midi notes won't be played anymore, but the input from an external instrument stays open. I can't remote control the tracks mute button, right?

Tried receive notes plugin. But this one does not only mute the track but also the external input.

Any way to mute the midi note lane only - preferrably by an external controller - but leave the instrument midi in open?

Goto Options->Additional Remote Overrides->Target Track Mute->Edit, if Learn from control surface input is active, any input from midi controller should work. Or open the mapping file of your midi controller and add Target Track Mute to a button in the Scope for Reason Document.
