i say goodby to you! Thank you!

Dear forum members,
after all these years I would like to say goodbye to you, because unfortunately I can no longer pursue my beloved music due to a treacherous illness!
I have been using reason since version 1.0 and I still think that Reason is one of the best software on the market. Unfortunately I will not live to see version 13! What a pity!
I would like to thank everyone for the many years of helpfulness and attention and the very friendly interaction with each other! Thanks for the inspiring music in the forum! I really enjoyed the nice little competitions!
I wish you continued pleasure with reason and a good exchange!

Bless you - I can only hope to be as graceful and positive when the day comes that I find myself in your position.
Your positive attitude has touched and inspired me greatly, and I thank you for that gift. I can only hope to repay you by passing it on when the time comes…

What a somber message. A post like this really puts things into perspective. The rest of us are not far behind you. A lifetime is such a brief moment in the vastness of time. It is an honor that we are all able to be alive at the same time and experience this madness together. Godspeed to you on the next leg of your journey. When I tell you this one statement stopped me in my tracks where I had to leave this post, gather myself and come back. My goodness. We all know that the clock will eventually strike zero for all of us but to write it out knowing it’s coming soon.

Oof. I read it differently than you did and thought it was meant colloquially. Didn't occur to me to take it literally... I hope you're wrong and Falk didn't mean it that way

I look forward to the times you/anyone/people can raise this sort of thing without feeling it may risk being out of line, been there more than I'd want to admit and it really can take dialog or interaction than you can do yourself in the moment to pull you out of it

I am a bit lost for words. I'll hope for a miracle first and foremost. I don't know you like the others as I was gone a long time, but please accept my best wishes for whatever the future may hold and that you indeed do see version 13 and are well enough to enjoy it. All the very best to you.

Thank you brother. I pray you will be with your closest friends and family in this transition period. Remember> it is not over until you are gone, and even then, we continue on. There is always an opportunity for healing. My prayer is that God will have mercy and heal your infirmary ! God bless you and may He comfort you in this time. Miracles happen every day. I have seen many.
