Hello guys! I have recently got an Ableton Live Lite 11 (upgraded to 12) license from my friend who bought a keyboard that has it. He didn't need it so he gave it away to me for free. However I'm not that familiar with Ableton Live so does anyone have an unused/spare Reason Lite license? I'm gonna trade my Ableton Live Lite license for it.

Thank you guys for reading my post!

As far as I can tell Ableton Live Lite licenses are far more common than Reason Lite licenses. At least here in Germany you get a Ableton Live Lite license with every chewing gum at the grocery store. Since recent years I did not come across a Reason Lite license. Maybe try ebay. But be cautious of course.

What about Cubase LE for Reason Lite? Idk if Reason Lite is rarer than Cubase LE.

That's seriously not a fair trade.

Live Lite is pretty much useless for any serious work, not so much for Reason Lite it seems. I'm only basing myself on 3rd pary info but let's talk Live Lite: 16 scenes, 16 mono (!) output channels and up to 8 tracks. Though I am talking Lite 12.

Reason Lite then... => viewtopic.php?t=7513793

... but you can still directly access all instruments, which you cannot do in Live Lite (actually: in none of the Live editions other than Suite). As such my opinion: this isn't a fair trade.

I gave TC a license, but I don't need anything. I wish TC inspiration.

Yes, Reason Lite 11.2.1 is powerful software. I did a lot of things in it using Matrix as a sequencer (and Matrix tracks have no restrictions).

Several Matrix + MoPol (free RE) = polyphonic sequencer.

Cubase LE could be fairer in my opinion.
