I've bought it after your mentioned you bought it, so I was last in line for the serial, and it went ok.

Ha this was on my wishlist since when I bought XO a while back , that disabled my ' illegal' version of rc-20
and I dont like VST because I like all my effects and instruments in the rack , but the quality and accessibility of all these filters in one window is really amazing. I've seen this plugin be used by a lot of cool producers, like kennybeats.

I think I remember some youtube video' how to remake rc-20 in Reason' but i can't find it anymore .

Now I'm also waiting for the serial!

hi! I got my code, I downloaded and run the installer , and got it 'up to date'.

edit: had trouble finding it , but now it's working, default it installs to 'programdata/xln audio/ 'folder that i needed to add in Reason vst plugin folders.

You can set the default install path in the XLN Authorizer. Go to settings.

Sorry I'm a bit late to write more on this, and the sale is now over .. The thing I like about RC-20 is while I have a few other plugins that will give you the same kind of textures (tape/vinyl noise, wow/flutter, eqing etc), most are suited mainly to very lo-fi settings - or at least things tend to get quite lo-fi very quickly. RC-20 can do lo-fi too, but it's not limited to that. You can get a good range from it.

Other features of RE-20 that are nice are the Flux and Magnitude settings. The Flux basically give the particular module some randomness and changes in intensity across all settings in the module.

And the Magnitude is great for doing transitions, as it's not just a wet/dry mix, it's a global intensity setting, so you can set some extreme settings at full Magnitude, and slowly/quickly merge into it, and then back.

The only module I never use though is the Space (reverb) one.

I'm sure almost every effect plugin you could say "but wait can't I just build this in Reason already?". I think if that's your state of mind you should probably ignore VSTs altogether.. just my 2c.

Yeh the serial took ages to register to my account too but does a good job in adding some dust to tracks
