I have the solo strings bundle and really like those. With no crossgrade to this, it doesn't add enough features to what solo strings have to justify $500. It's still monophonic. I was expecting some intelligent voice handling, but it's just unison ensembles and lots of work to make an arrangement.

I'm already using several instances of solo strings to create ensembles with Spacelab, and the Distributor RE comes in handy for playing chords. I think it's more fun and inspiring to create a playable quartet or octet.

Yes, it's very difficult to manage all the parameters and modulations, there is the risk of being overwhelmed by automations. And from this point of view, Reason doesn't help.
But they sound pretty damn good ...
