I needed (wanted really) any old thing to connect my non-production PC to my speakers (Mackie CR4).

I could have connected it via a stereo jack cable, but I wanted a volume knob that was not on the speakers.

Behringer has some cheap options, and I was tempted to get their £20 interface that only has two RCA outputs. But it has no volume knob.

Anyway, I came across the Presonus AudioBox Go for £50 and it was an insta buy.

For £50 you get typical Presonus quality (but you only get Studio One Prime with this one). The knobs and exterior are clearly low-budget, but that's just cosmetic.

Oh, and it's also quite small and light.

And for those who need it, it also has a mic/line (with phantom power) and line input, 1/4" jack headphone socket with its own volume control, and a mix knob to go between outputting audio input or USB output to the speakers and headphones.
