I did not plan to buy any new RE in the near future but if it is not too expensive I'll grab it.
Come on, let $79 happen.

I think $79 is somewhat ambitious. $119 seems to be a good price point for RE synths to come in at. But of course the developer is free to set the price however they choose .......... Nostromo $199!! I'm hoping the (expected) Nostromo & PSQ-1684 bundle offers so decent savings in any case. I held out on PSQ-1684. A well priced Nostromo & PSQ-1684 bundle & I'm likely to jumpsatyr32 wrote:Come on, let $79 happen.
Well, I'm definitely buying it at $79 but less likely the more expensive it is from there.

Never seen so much price-related discussion about a thing that doesn't exist yet

Seriously?! As soon as ANYTHING new is announced the first thing people ask is when, where & how much?dvdrtldg wrote:Never seen so much price-related discussion about a thing that doesn't exist yet

Sometimes they are demanding a discount before they even know how much, let alone if they even want it.
When people did that in cars it was a sure sign they weren't actually ready to buy anything today (today is the only day that counts in cars because people who say they are coming back aren't and if they are it is only to price shop you to someone else).
People are funny - in very un-funny ways. Sigh.

Bundle with PSQ-1684 should be published soon.
Congratulations!

I'm watching all of this, and I'm thinking that this must have been a really long development period to create these 2.rcbuse wrote:Bundle with PSQ-1684 should be published soon.
EDIT: not Reason 9 compatible with my machine. It started making cracking noises really loud

Nice little demo, sounds a whole lot more going on than just 5 Nostromo's, interesting...Lizard wrote:I messed around and put together a little ditty using nothing but a few patches I made for Nostromo today. Noting special but a demo of sounds in use. The track had only five (5) Nostromo devices and one Dr. Rex Drum loop. No other effects were used other than one Ozone Maximizer. Any other effect is from Nostromo itself. My computer is modest in CPU strength and typically had two bars on CPU meter. Link to demo below.
Funky Nostromo
Currently no plans to enter the AU/VST market.avasopht wrote:/slash, are you considering a VST version of this? out of curiosity.
I really like the price bundle and the color combination.rcbuse wrote:Bundle with PSQ-1684 should be published soon.

Certainly seems like the better deal, though I'll admit that I don't know how to use PSQ-1684! Intrigued, though...Faastwalker wrote:Looks like it's already there;rcbuse wrote:Bundle with PSQ-1684 should be published soon.

It's a tenner higher than I was hoping to spend, but no big deal.
I'll check it out soon, and unless it spikes my cpu or the envelopes are wonky for me (both unlikely from what I've seen and heard in this thread), I'm sold.
Congrats and thanks.

They put a TON of work into this synth. A serious amount of programming was done. And it is extremely light on CPU, too. This thing is a beast. I don't think $129 is asking too much for it, considering all the work that has gone into it and the wonderful sounds it is capable of making... OFF.THE.HOOK! Have you considered the bundle? That's an amazing deal, really. Basically, another $20 gets you PSQ-1684! NICE!!Loque wrote:Heavy price... Please impress me when i try. And no special loyalty offers and no intro-price...
Hit the try button.... and I'm sure you will soon be hitting the buy button.
BTW> the randomize button is nuts! It comes up with a randomized slot layout from the 2000+ different spectra. That's right, 2000+..... yeah.... that alone must have taken Lectric Panda a hellofalot of time programming all those. And there are 200 different sweep patterns to morph thru the different slots. This thing is bonkers.... try it!
