You guys are truly awesome! Getting to know the basics (although I need more than just that) of C++ was not as hard as I imagined and I now have a partner very competent in C++ and this makes things much easier (Thank you for the playlist AttenuationHz!!!!) I can cover the DSP while he does the C++ side of things even though they are closely integrated I am confident together we can do this. He worked at Dell for a number of years doing development for extended battery efficiency.

Was just wondering as was suggested by Rain waves if the IDT SDK was still sufficient for making sample-based instruments in terms of it possibly being outdated? Is that really practical for a ROMpler style RE?

Also, do you guys feel that ReFills are still a technology future and current reason users will continue to use?

Again, thank you for your continued support as this vision/dream is finally coming to life!

Congratulations! The IDT is still actively supported and remains the best option for building a rompler with less infrastructural overhead. Some RE developers have started with IDT and grown into the full SDK, while others have become somewhat prolific with the IDT alone.

Refills tend to be overshadowed by REs these days, but there is still a market for them, especially the ones for popular REs.

Thank you! That is good news. I really would be all good to go with ReFills (Would need a nice design/faceplate) but I feel like its not really what people need or look for. The CVA-7 is splendid BTW! It honestly has to be my most used free RE.

Hope you all are doing well in terms of development and sales. If you ever need anything let me know. Run a Sound Design site and run the blog at Unison.Audio . Going to start doing more tutorials in Reason on my site as I am now putting everything but Reason to the side. Thanks again guys!

Also, how am I supposed to register Recon? Don't know how I am supposed to open examples and my own future work without it not being in demo mode? I am sure I will figure it out, most likely many roadblocks ahead! lol

Main SDK is part of any kind of RE as fundamental base.
IDT is a part of IDT developing, but its also based on full SDK.
Who work under IDT, must know main rules of SDK.
Users now think that IDT is out of SDK and its not true.

And I must say, that there active NDA rules, and developers cant talkdeeper about developing by NDA.
Dont know who talk before about many detailed things, utilities names, but remember that Propellerheads have NDA and devs cant talk with users about it.

All is need to start for users who intresting to try or educate how build REs, have enough info at registration and next steps.
Dont think that is nice idea talk deeper than registration at this forum with users. Its under NDA. And devs (also users that registered in Developer program that also under NDA agreement) - also must remember it.

If you already registered wait approve and after it you can find sections of dev account with any kind of needed contacts and place to talk with devs.
Its a public forum. And not place for this talks. Please remember about NDA.
Facebook group close activity because many non-devs talk about things under NDA..

Ok, did not mean to break any rules. Assume stuff like this is better off spoken about on the Dev forum on propellerhead or not at all. Thanks for the check. I'm aware of the NDA and should have gathered this extends beyond that. My fault. Thanks again.

Feel free to post questions on the dev forum! It might look a little dead, but me and several other developers check it on a pretty regular basis.
