Which Re was money well spent?
Not as many this year i dont think but still a fair few came out.
Sequences by Robotic Bean gets my vote . I think....To get the best out of it ...you need to use in conjunction with a midi keyboard (whereas most other sequencers are a 'dial it in and see what happens' kind off job). The ways and means in which you can move around and edit notes on this thing is pretty incredible. So well thought out . Great job.

D1-RT Line Noise Injector is pretty cool. And free. Love simple one trick ponies like this.
Honestly there hasn't been many new REs that has sparked my interest lately. I like Scenic, though I wouldn't call it RE of the year. Really wish it wasn't so DSP heavy.

Yeah easily best bundle of the year. No doubt. But none of those REs have been released during this year so I'm not sure that counts.
Technically that would go under the “Deal of the year” category .

Delta midi computer is totally awesome, gets my vote for Re of the year.
Sequences is great but needs a few more features to be indespensible for me, a forward/reverse option, trig conditions and probability per step would make it the perfect Re.

Tie between Delta Midi Computer with its power to make other players obsolete. and ARCUS user knobs - such an innocent simple looking RE that finds its way into so many of my patches, and almost makes me forget or care if there will ever be a Combinator 2.0.
Ah, sorry, I might have broken the rules of the thread. I was thinking it was about which RE was the biggest powerhouse of the year.
ARCUS really is a unique little device with a lot of potential from this year. I need to break that out again soon. In fact, it's been more songwriting and less CV patching/sound design for me this year. Now's a good time to dust off some of those digital jack cables...

What about Complex-1, was that this year? I thought it was. That’d be my vote for synth of the year but if it’s outside of 2019 then SKP Zoetrope is great for a debut synth.
As for the rest of them, I’d go with PolyStep as best Player, but I haven’t demo’d Sequences yet, and I know they are very close in terms of feature sets.

ChordLine for me, as well. I've gotten so much use out of that thing since getting it. The ability to easily plug in your own custom chords and progressions is invaluable. I've been mapping out parts for entire tracks and saving as patches. Crazy useful for live situations.

Another vote for Delta! Complex-1 would be my 2nd choice.
