A warm hello to all,
After a good two years of other DAW, I'm returning to Reason. I now realize how incredibly musical it is.
Now a question for you. Can you recommend the Rob Papen EQ? I'm looking for an EQ where I can lower very narrow (spike) frequencies. Bitwig's EQ+ is the only plugin I'm missing where I'm looking for an alternative.
Thanks!

RP EQ is my workhorse EQ for surgical stuff, so I would certainly recommend it. You might also take a look at Red Queen by Lab:One.
Sidenote: RP does nice discounts during Black Friday, so look out for that next week if you go that route.

GQ-7 from Synapse gets a lot of good press. Slopes as high as 96dB/oct for very sharp cuts.

My recommendation is to give each of the following a try:
https://www.reasonstudios.com/shop/rack ... oloringeq/
https://www.reasonstudios.com/shop/rack ... eq-effect/
https://www.reasonstudios.com/shop/rack ... equalizer/

For ‘surgical corrections’ I often go back to Synapse Audio’s GQ-7 for purely pragmatic reasons. But the other EQs, as mentioned above, are also great for extreme narrow band corrections.

Isn't that only on the hi-pass and low-pass filter?
I really like GQ-7, but for pure surgical stuff RP EQ is a lot more versatile tmo. I have GQ-7, but I got RP EQ because it has eight bands (and hi/low pass filters), but more importantly it has the option to hear a specific EQ-band, which GQ-7 doesn't have.

Thank you everyone for the good tips.
It's nice that the GQ-7 is mentioned more often .. I was able to buy it from an offer some time ago.
COLORING EQ and RP-Eq I take a look look and have download the trial version.

How do these sound to those of you who have some nice VST EQ’s? I’ve found it hard to take a close look at RE EQ’s because I’ve got a range of really good VST EQ’s. Throwing one or two of these in my subscribe bundle right now though.
