Does anyone know of a tuner rack extension? Before you man splain that there is one on the sequencer, I know. But when I am recording I am in the rack more than the sequencer. It would be nice to check the tuning of my bass, guitar, or the myriad of analog synths I use from there. If they had simply included the button that switches from meter to tuning this would not be an issue.

When I have Balance Propellerhead audio interface, I really love button that open big window with Tuner
And also soft clip button for audio recording limiter activation.
Balance is stop to be supported, is outdated.
This was been really helpful

Philup, you are right!)))) Thank you for this.

cmd+F3 on Mac is work. Bad that I skipped this moment after stop using Balance.
One of the wishes for this Record / Tuner meter is resize for the window.

Use Neptune.

Just turn the pitch correction off and you're good to go

That is a good thought but it does not show the pitch when you turn off the correction.

Curious how someone just pointing out an official feature in response to the question would be “man-splaining”?

It is only mansplaining if it is something that is already known. I was letting everyone know that I know where the tuner on the sequencer is. Everyone that responded was helpful. Still not the solution I wanted. But I'm currently using the first solution offered. I appreciate their helpful responses. Still think electric panda could make a better one I could set in the rack. I love those cv/audio scopes of theirs.

GTune is a free VST that works well.

Don’t think that’s how it works but ok. The response could’ve come from a woman or non-binary person but just because it’s a known feature it’s immediately assigned to males with a negative connotation regardless of the gender of the person responding. Someone could genuinely be considering the idea that the person asking may not be aware of that feature.

I am so sorry if I offended you. My comment was meant to point out that I know there is a tuner in the sequencer and I am looking for other options. Again sorry I offend you. Just for the record. There was no response. That was the initial post.

You don't even have to open up the recrding meter window or use a plugin, as the tuner is built into every audio channel :puf_wink:

Sorry mimidancer, re-read your OP and saw you pointed at that. I posted this as everyone was pointing at the popup window.

I only posted grrr to you because I thought you were making a joke. I appreciate you taking the time to help. The screenshot was thoughtful. Thank you .
