Hi all,
I have recently been given permission by Dale from Valley to port his VCV Modules to Reason.
The first one off the list is "Plateau", a great plate reverb module.

I am looking for beta testers for this, so if you are interested please PM me.
I need:
  • Like for like parity checking
  • UI readability and layout feedback
  • Bug reports
I am NOT interested in:
  • suggestions for changes or extra functions, as this is a precise port with no functionality change.
The Plateau details can be found here:
https://library.vcvrack.com/Valley/Plateau
Here is the manual:
https://valleyaudio.github.io/rack/plateau/

Here is a screenshot of the RE port (Not necessarily the final UI):

This will be a paid for RE, and beta testers will get a free copy of the release version.
(Yes I know Plateau is free on VCV, but I have made my decision to charge the low price point for this RE port)
Thanks,
Murf.

Wow! Love that Reverb. Use it all the time. Don't believe me? See what dimension gets discovered with it by Omri Cohen. https://www.youtube.com/c/OmriCohen-Music

Would love to test it in Reason and also compare it to the original vcv module.

Thanks

I wonder why are there front cv in's for on the gui you posted? Would actually be cool if Reason got front jacks for signals.

Hehe I wish...
No they are lamps that light up when you plug a cv cable in the corresponding jack on the back. This way I can make the front panel UI look more like the VCV original :)

Players are to MIDI what synthesizers are to waveforms.

I added cardinal vst just so I could use that reverb with reason. It will be cool to have it as a device.

Cool, interesting.
Mutable instruments knobs detected)))
Really not enough in RE SDK 3U with various HP width panels. In days when Eurorack and other hardware can be set in one rack

I can beta test (if you still need testers). I think this is probably the reverb 99% of VCV rack people use.

Not all of them, I am having trouble with Amalgam at the moment as it heavily uses SIMD instructions, and the Reason library for SIMD is limited.
I might take a look at the Synth (Interzone) or maybe the FM Oscillator (Dexter) next.

had an initial play and I have thoughts, which I'll put in the beta forum when it's ready.

But this is just to say that (a) it sounds freakn great and (b) awesome to finally have a reverb RE with freeze.

nice work!!

Unfortunately the 'toggle" function for Hold can't be implemented due to the way the Reason SDK handles GUI elements, but so far that is the only feature of the original Plateau that has not been implemented.
