Coming Soon from Selig Audio…
As an extension of the Leveler's amazing upwards compression algorithm, I'm working on a brand new high tech low level amplification device that takes advantage of the principle that no sound ever decays totally to silence. This means all sounds ever made are still "hanging around", albeit at very low levels. The trick is to filter out the louder (newer) audio leaving only the old.
Using this technology we can literally go back in time and hear things like famous speeches, find out what folks were REALLY saying to each other when the microphones were turned off, even find the missing 18 minutes from the Nixon tapes, etc. In fact once I tweak the algorithms further one could even go back far enough to be able to hear what the Dinosaurs actually sound like, and taking it to the ultimate conclusion, to finally hear the sound of the original Big Bang!

In all seriousness, maybe indeed the long awaited and expected Crapre update. It has the potential to be a really great device.
For those just tuning in that weren't around in April of last year, or just don't remember, this is Crapre:

The Wbl3001 was released by omino.com the year before on April 1st
For those who don't know about it, it actually is a pretty cool, FREE Rack Extension.

Ya know, I got this RE a year and a half ago (or something like that) and I STILL haven't ever loaded it into my rack.... mostly because it really doesn't DO anything musically speaking, right? It's just a pretty light show that plays with the music, isn't it? Anyway... I think it's kind of funny I've yet to load it and play with it.joeyluck wrote:The Wbl3001 was released by omino.com the year before on April 1st

This is from Close Encounters of the Third Kind...
Occasionally i have some free time.
Like way too much free time.
This thing has many variations that may delight the eye.
I use it to keep me awake on long hauls with my 16 wheeler.
Hooked up to a Red Sovine cassette.

Who’s using the royal plural now baby? 🧂
April Fools' Day: What might we see?:
REASON 9 will be announced (skipping R8.5) with every single feature everyone ever wanted!
And Propellerheads issuing an apology to all of the PUF members, admit defeat and reopen REASON USER FORUM with no Moderators and allow the blood bad to continue, scaring away all those new wide eyed customers :s0230: !!!

My opinion is that Propellerhead REASON needs a complete rewrite!
P.S: people should stop saying "No it won't happen" when referring to a complete rewrite of REASON. I have 3 letters for ya....VST

A Crapre update would be GREATLY appreciated! It sounds cool but I refuse to use it until there's a way to control the damage. ='(

I just asked Peff if he and Sonic Charge would consider updating Crapre for April 1. He said that they haven't discussed it. :frown: Oh well, maybe he'll consider making it available in the shop again for those of you who missed out. It's a fantastic little sound destroyer.

Indeed. There were some folks who missed out on it...and many folks that are new to Reason now. It should at least be made available April of every yearEnochLight wrote:I just asked Peff if he and Sonic Charge would consider updating Crapre for April 1.
