Just one thing...(maybe two...):

"What you may use in your song:

• Any Reason native and rack extension Effects and Utilities (no external plug-ins or hardware) "

Are Synchronous and Audiomatic considered as native? I have this cause PH give them free when I updated but this REs are still in the shop!

Question two: only one song for entrant?

Bye,
David

Hello David,

1.) The rules allow ALL effects and utilities, Reason native and Rack Extension alike.
2.) There are no limits to the number of entries per participant.

Good Luck!

I just wrote to Brent about this. There are actually 5 songs submitted to the Soundcloud group so far and more should arrive now that the Vecto song challenge is closed.

My effort here;

All sounds Oberon (including drums) with only stock devices used, no other RE's. A good bit of RV-7000 MK II & a little Echo. Didn't want to use too many effects or do too much processing. This was all about Oberon & it's sounds. Used mostly tweaked presets & a little of my own sounds.

Are foley samples allowed? Samples like water textures I have recorded with my Zoom H4n.

I am better asking now before I'll get disqualified. :D

Yes, as long as it's not a "foley sample" of another synth....

also a question here about samples. samplers of noise swooshes, like riser noise sweeps you would hear in a build up of a track, are they allowed, or do they count as synth sounds?

Yes, this is allowed as long as it is not coming from another synth in Reason.
