And a few more ambiances... They are all layerd samples to create the full ambiance. Each of the 8 Generators play part of the ambiance.
They can play on for hours if nessecary. So also perfect for sleep therapy ;-)
It's not a single loop but separete samples looped perfectly to create true nature-ambiances. (All sample-loops are of different length).

Cool... Now you can add a frog to it ;-) or anything you like. And better, mix it with your favorite song you created in Reason.

Now THIS is something I might get :)

What I do currently, is throw my own nature recordings into Ableton's Granulator and create infinite new textures from them. And I recently discovered that I can also go to Youtube and just search for "rainforest sounds"- or whatever ambient sound recording I'm after - and boom! there's all these 10-hour videos of that stuff - it's a whole subculture, apparently. Throw that in a granular sampler, and you've got infinity.

I don't think this will replace my current methods, but it could be a good addition to the process!

I like the idea. The problem for me is I probably wouldn't use this too much so the price would probably have to be lower than is justified by the amount of work the dev put in. I'll be curious to see how it turns out. Who wouldn't want a snoring kitten on their track?

I'll keep the price low, just like my other devices...

I think that this is a very good idea !!!!
of course the power of this device will all depend on the Amount and quality of the samples. Man I can't wait to hear what you have have in terms of traffic sounds! well, I'm assuming that you would include other then just nature sounds !?!

Just a thought... why not simply number the generators left to right..? instead of numbering them up and down,up and down...?
Number 7 lands top right but number 8 follows it, bottom middle.

Also this might be beyond the scope of this device, but it would be cool to have a device like this with other un-natural sounds..to help create sound effects.Rizers & hits
something like this :

My opinion is that Propellerhead REASON needs a complete rewrite!
P.S: people should stop saying "No it won't happen" when referring to a complete rewrite of REASON. I have 3 letters for ya....VST

I really like the design of the main section but the cow like edges just do not fit to it. Probably having a carve in on the surface and letting the images overflow would be better. Or the areas could be the base colour of the device.

haha what an odd RE. Fairly cool.

Can users load their own samples into it? I do field recordings myself.

I'm surprised you ask that as a frequent forum user :) there is no sample loading for any RE yet :(
would be cool, though.
