Just watched the video for this! Very nice. Shame it wasn't zoomed but nice sounds. I guess for these IDT devices there's no problem making it polyphonic at all... heard some great pad and arp sounds in there too. Filter sounded nice and responsive as well. Oh... and now I have to have the RV7k update asap! ;)

Edit: This is very much my own personal perspective on this (and I'm a bit grumpy) but I'd be careful on what you promise in terms of future updates. If for whatever reason they don't happen (I'm sure it won't be the case here!) it really puts me off that developer. I know you want to attract as many customers as possible but IMO it'd be better to just make / get more patches as a priority and update quickly rather than make a promise. I'm going to be a customer for sure... just wanted to share my thoughts on this.

Wow I really like the sound of it! those waves...sound fat, heavy and clean! I really can't wait to hear what other devices you have in store.
and also note to every other developer who makes a mono synth...do like Nautilus did and add a Poly button on there...easy :-)
My opinion is that Propellerhead REASON needs a complete rewrite!
P.S: people should stop saying "No it won't happen" when referring to a complete rewrite of REASON. I have 3 letters for ya....VST

My thought it that 3.9 is pretty good. Average should be 3.0. That would mean it was average. 3.9 is almost 4 and above average. Maybe time will add higher praise in the shop. In my opinion it is a value at the price.

On another note.... if you are a Nektar user and want to have this device mapped for your device if you are trialing it or have bought it you can download the Unofficial Panorama Re Map in my Nektar Map thread in the hardware forum.

I've added 14 more patches and fixed a loud one, not much but wanted some pads in there too. Just waiting for props to approve it.
This synth will always get free updates if/when i add stuff.

Here's some new patches in a test track.

Thanks for the Coming update MB !
I am happy with Nautilus as it stands , but would you consider an LFO Sync switch & an option to root LFO to Filter / SAW ! just a suggestion = instant wobble effect ;)

One of the new patches is a wobble combi with thor as a keytracked lfo modulator for the filter. I kind of like limitations myself and how synths shape their own sounds but thats the beauty of Reason, you can always combine and build awesome stuff!

I would like to second that suggestion, being able to instantly LFO tempo sync would be wonderful. :-) CV inputs are always fun, but optional for me. A synth being able to sync with my current track, however, is a must. ;-)

Nice jfrichards, I always listen to your drop snippets whenever you post them. Great variation in styles and experimentation you have :) Well, $9 is a steal and the bass sounds big from what I've heard. Bought.

This thing is beastly for 9 bucks, especially when paired with a step recorder.

Is $9/euros the introduction price, or will it be $9 always?

I have yet to try it, but is the LFO really just limited to controlling pitch?

That said, it does sound pretty sweet. Especially for $9

Before I trial, is it like some of these other lower priced/good sounding RE's that just munch CPU like a cookie monster? I don't even want to be disappointed

Just finished a song using Nautilus.
Everything except for some noise sweeps and some other swishy background effects is from Nautilus.

- on reason , playbkack on
- some default reason device on the sequenceur (redrdrum and 2 or 3 substractor and thor with pattern matrix )
- loop played on Block and set for 2 mesures ( 1-3)
( running on windows Seven 32 bits )

Understatement.

For 9 bones, it's a no-brainer.
