Still, nice to have an update, even if we don't know why exactly.

And on what fact or evidence do you hold this opinion?

I mean, sure, PH probably wants to "sell more" simply as a matter of running their business, but you imply that this update is somehow supposed to attract new buyers. And I would love to hear exactly what makes you think that, and how that's supposed to work, because right now the logic of it escapes me.

Probably implying it bumps it to the top of the shop?

Because that's the way the company who can run ads in the shop as they please as well as who can plug things via social media would go about it

Or maybe they just fixed some bugs? I'm going with that.

Fair enough, I actually hadn't thought of that.

However, it would be a far more attention-getting method of promoting it to have a sale and drop a couple bucks off the price. I just don't get why some events, if the reason for such an event isn't perfectly clear, have to be turned by some people into some kind of negative-sounding conspiracy.

I mean, hardly a thing happens on the PH site, where, if it isn't perfectly spelled out completely, there isn't someone who pipes up saying something to the effect of "I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THIS THING! SO I WILL AFFECT AN ATTITUDE OF SAVVY, KNOWING DISMISSAL AND PROCLAIM IT TO BE PH DOING SOMETHING UNDERHANDED."

I think this was one of the bugs that was fixed:

I bought Pulsar yesterday, because they bumped it on the top of the shop.

I bought it last week because I had a premonition it would be bumped to the top of the shop.

Love Pulsar - even though Little LFO has more functionality, Pulsar is more elegant so I end up two of them. WIsh they'd add some patches - the presets are really really lovely.

lets hope its a sign that they are tidying up lose ends before the next upgrade perhaps ? we can live in hope yeah

Only in this forum would people complain or speak ill of free bug fixes lol.
