It may be sampled waveforms, but it's actually a great synth with some cool modulation options. I didn't like the onboard reverb much - I normally disable it and pop in a Synapse Deep Reverb or TSAR-1 which brings it to life! I bought it full price on release and it was a bargain then, so this price is definitely a no-brainer!

I was about to buy it.
Then my brother said to me last saturday evening: "lets go drink" and so we went with my wife and his girlfriend.

YESTERDAY I had so bad hangover (still on monday! ) Couldnt do anything at work so I started to model this. I did the back panel
today and the renderings..

I fear to check my bank account. It wasn't cheap to go to the city and consume some drinks  Damn.

Great renders! The text displays look a little flat IMO but great renders anyway.
And please, put a source cable in there, it looks like its on batteries ;)

The one thing that irks me about this synth is a non-standard quirk of the UI. The standard UI pattern in Reason is that any buttons next to a text display (like the waveform selector) cycle through the options, while clicking on the text itself pops up a menu. On Aurora, the button next to the text display pops up the menu, while clicking on the text itself does nothing – I keep accidentally clicking on the text and getting no menu and it's frustrating!

It's not a deal breaker, especially at the sale price. But if you're reading this, MB, I'd like to make a feature request for a future Aurora update: Add the text displays to the clickable area that pops up menus. Aurora users everywhere will thank you! :)
