Elementary takes 3 inputs (internal and/or external) and runs them through a chain of 12 logic gates. Each gate has its own CV output, so you can use them all simultaneously if you want. Each gate also has its own activity LED, in the exact same places on both on the front and back panels, so flipping back and forth while tweaking and making connections is really smooth.
Elementary Logic Gates is in the shop
Introducing Elementary Logic Gates, a new pattern generating RE from Robotic Bean. Available now in the shop.

Woah, fantastic device! Time to build a cv computer
Looks like another item I need to pick up for my EUROID rack.

Congrats! So glad to see this hit the shop. This is a fantastic device to introduce some new and interesting rhythmic gates to your music. It's particularly fun to hook this up to Euclid (via Ext in) to get a bunch of alternate rhythms from each of Euclid's many styles.
Something i love to do with this RE is to use it for fills. I mute the different gates using the corresponding keyboard key (labeled on the back), and then unmute the gate when I want the fill to play.

Wait, does this mean the rack is now Turing-complete?
Thanks for the kind comments, everyone!
I'd like to give a huge shout-out to our awesome beta testing team, especially to Nick Curry for helping out with the video script and voiceover, and to Benedict Roff-Marsh for all the great combi patches!

Haha, yeah, I compared the standards while designing the device. In the end I went for the ANSI symbols because a) they don't have anything inside them that would interfere with the LEDs, and b) they look cooler.CR68 wrote:Looks Really great! Have to Test this out.
But i live in europe and here the symbole are different. So you have to make a DIN, IEC and US Version
Ok. Troll Mode Off. Ist a Really great device. Cant wait to Test IT out.
May Madness is here, so time for some new device exploration!
This device, elementary, seems quite interesting. I checked the video.
Now that it has been out for a while, how do you guys (users) feel about it. Have you posted any music out there that uses it?

I use it for semi-randomised percussion. Hook it up to a few instances of Republik and mix it with your drums, it's great
