Here's a short video demonstrating the split osc multitimbral function. :)

It's very simple. You choose between: "Osc 1" or "Osc 1 and 2" or "Osc 1, 2 and 3". Then those oscillators only sound when played under C3 on your keyboard. So, If "Osc 1" is chosen, then the rest of the oscillators play above C3 etc.

I'll also make a video demonstrationg the polyphonic EQs.

While I'm bummed that the 80's hot-pink neon retro motif didn't carry over... I'm always happy to see new Skrock anything in the shop.
Copped!

PS. Please make a neon pink skin for this!!

Here I'm using one Solaris V2 to demonstrate its polyphonic EQs. These equalizers shape every note/waveform individually.

The EQs are pre the filter and shaper, so they can also be modulated in the global matrix for some crazy distortion effects.

Here's a simple Reason 9 project with Poly EQ drive modulations going on.

Some excellent features here. I am planning on an RnB project with a singer and these new tricks in Solaris are going to get a lot of usage when it comes to arrangement and instrumentation.

He Schrock i am in love with solaris sinse the release. It is a 80's power house! So i used it in almost every track... for me the most important question, is v2 fully backward compatible? I am not finished with all of my tracks

YES! The only difference is that the mute buttons now save CPU when turned on.

Plus! Retrig is on by default, if you turn that off the legato works as Solaris V1. So if anything sounds odd, it could be that the retrig is enabled. This only affects when Solaris is in mono mode of course!

Sod the updates, I'm sticking with the eye-catching/inspiring purple (the only reason I purchased)

Reminds me a bit of Massive! Anyway, I might be in a minority here but I always found the old UI kinda jarring against the skeumorphic style of the other racks. So yeah, thumbs up from me!

Liked the neon purple look better. Hopefully Skrock addresses why that color scheme was changed?

Skrock wanted to standardize all his units and Solaris definitely wasn't "standard".

I kinda missed the purple GUI but after working with this for a few patches I found it really works better overall (even if it isn't as romantic and spacey).

If he made the Solaris word hot purple again, as well as the buttons when they were enabled I think we'd all stop whining
The thing is standardising isn't necessarily always appealing. Anyway fantastic update! I had a look at the old vs V2 and the GUI alone was enough for me to upgrade. The previous GUI left me a little overwhelmed when I first bought in a few months back.

I think there were contrast issues with the old GUI, it was pretty much impossible to see in sunlight. The new one is much more practical in my eyes. Nice job!
