Notes to Track using Auto Theory?

I tried the method espoused by Robotic Bean, using a combinator, but it didn't work. So how is this done?

i dont know about the advice you were given but try this method. > get the free device CVPT player and drop that above your instrument. plug the cv from auto theory into that instead of directly into the instrument and hit the "send to track" button at the top right of the player

Yeah, I got it going with the CVPT player. I just took 3 months off music, and have to catch up now.
