A-List drummer wont play / jam

Hey everyone

My A list drummer wont play back , like , say my octo rex does
I want to hear the a list drummer play the beat for me
and I pick the verse chorus etc
It sounds ok but no auto playback
this happened after updating to 10.3
rex plays back loops
a list dont play back unless I write midi into track

i7 etc

It never did! To play something, you have to send MIDI to it (in the upper octaves to select patterns). Use the "Hold" button to keep the pattern playing even when you release the key.

I didnt have a controller setup
and does it have copy to track ?

Only Players have that feature, and Players can't produce audio.

But you can use the CV gate outs to trigger CV Player Tap, and with some creative filtering in between you can map each CV trigger to a different note. Then you can copy those notes to tracks.
