I was about to buy PX7 using my reward vouchers and noticed UK price has recently risen from £89 to £99. Resonans is also up, was £109 now £129.
Changed my mind now. Will wait for sales.

same for the prices in €, they are much more expensive than in American $, while 99 $ is worth 87.50 €, a product at 99 $ is sold 109 €
see the example with antares autotune (see screenshot)

It looks like stuff which was €9 has gone up to €10, stuff which was €19 has gone up €2, stuff which was €29 has gone up €3 etc.
Must be a bug right?

this is not the case for all editors (for dolar I open the re page in a private browser and the other page in normal mode)

Yea, weird. Odd prices in €. Not for all RE, but a few. Maybe it depends on the price the dev called for it, if it was $ or €.

It is not weird or a bug. It is an official "adjustment" by Reason Studios who has updated their sales tier.

if so, why does it vary from one publisher to another? (I understood the bundle is less affected)

in any case it is not cool for Europe, because a product comes back much more expensive (for autotune it will cost me 25.38 $ more expensive than someone who buys it in the USA)

Yup, that is strange. I picked up three of the Studio Corbach REs (both the "Ambi" samplers and "Orange") shortly before midnight, all for £8. Some time in the last 12 or so hours, everything seems to have jumped up by approx 10%.

Not that I'd be quibbling about the leap from £8 to £9 - the Ambis are splendid, and an absolute bargain at either price... but it does suggest a deliberate percentage hike across the board for UK/EU users, which is a bit irritating when it comes to larger items. (Autotune is not really my 'thing', but I might be swayed by its experimental possibilities, if the price shortens a bit.)

Tempted to mysteriously 'relocate' to the States before my next purchase, (even if only in my head). ;)

The PX7 is now over 7 years in production and I would imagine original components are getting hard to come by. That’s probably why they’ve increased the price.

😳🙃😂

PX7 still shows as $99 here. Sounds like currency adjustments and not product price adjustments.

It’s showing as €109 here so if it’s a currency adjustment dependent on exchange rate then they’ve certainly done something wrong. Anyway, Pongasoft told us already the reason: “ It is an official "adjustment" by Reason Studios who has updated their sales tier.”. So there we have it.

Yep. I’m still, for some reason, more likely to buy an RE when it’s €39 than if it’s €43. Call me old fashioned.

Price RE's much higher in NL? VAT tax?

Hey guys,

For example the ''Terminal Master Effect'' by BASSGRID is on sale now for $49
But the price here in The Netherlands is €54.. Converted back to dollar that is $60,82

At the checkout is says: ''Final cost (incl. B2C VAT/sales tax) 54.00 EUR''

Is it so much higher just because of the Dutch taxes?

Thanks!

Yes, EUR prices are higher overall due to taxes within the EU, not just Dutch taxes.

yes all RE have taken 10% since yesterday. Bundles, Refill and VST in the store are always sold with a price of € 1 for $ 1.
there seems to be a price adjustment by Reason studio
