I know it's not blue but this one is quite expensive too so maybe?

Softube REs were the best devices ever. They wouldn't have been so expensive otherwise. You've obviously been using it wrong.

I use one of mine to prop the door open.
And I use the other to wedge it shut.
Definitely worth selling that kidney to buy them.
Hahahahaha!!!!! Do you know how to use irony?

I used 9075 rewards points to buy two for each door in my house and then I used the rewards points I got for buying them to buy another one to stop up the chimney.

It might have been overpriced, but I like their Tsar reverb. I own the bigger brother of the two reverbs. I still use it every now and then. Great for more natural/acoustic sounding material.
Hilarious that someone has to defend their purchase so much they cannot take on board another person's opinion of the item they bought, you go cuddle with your FET, I'm sure it keeps you warm at night
Tend the flame
The milk did not mind, I hope

I thought you were one of the in crowd. Have you read the other comments in this thread. Everyone knows and has always known how ridiculously overpriced Softube REs were. Thatβs the whole point. I was being ironic in saying something must be great because it is expensive. There are many people who actually are of that opinion and thatβs obviously just silly. When I said you must be using it wrong I was alluding to my previous comment in order to make a second joke. I hope that clears things up.
I canβt cuddle with my FET as itβs currently holding my window open.

Everybody's batch about Softube prices, am I the only one who bought a bunch of their REs on sale?
I only bought FET. I used it until I got RE-2A, which I then found myself using on everything.
I felt like the execution of the Tube-Tech RE was odd and completely missed the mark. Reason is a modular environment and they decided to deliver a monolith device in the RE format. Want to use just one of the EQs or the compressor? You have to load the entire thing. It was available as individual plugins in other formats.
So they were trying to sell a very expensive plugin to a smaller market, whereas in the larger VST market, people could buy the individual plugins for lower prices, or buy a bundle. It felt so backwards. It also lacked CV. It was as if after a couple years of making devices for Reason, they lost rather than gained understanding of Reason and the RE format. That was the last RE plugin they released. Nearly a decade ago.
I wouldn't mind seeing the amps get replaced in Reason as well. Maybe RS can partner with Kuassa?

I bought their synth "Parrallels" discounted at about 50 bucks. It is a simple rompler for what I can tell with very basic effects, basic modulations and decent filters.
The UI is very very good, colourful and adaptive by presets but overall the synth is far far from modern standards even if the presets are better than average...

Bitwig and RRP fanboy...
I'm glad that softube has been removed from the shop, I've not purchased a single RE that they produced and wouldn't recommend any as the bugs never got fixed nor did the price ever come close to the vst versions.
to me it looked like they was purely using the re shop as and advert for the vsts.
good reddens to bad expensive rubbish....
