Btw for modulation purposes, in terms of a FX-Combinator, Pulsar is pretty handy, as well as Lectric Panda´s (free) Janitor and Spectral Scan´s (free) "4 Phase LFO" and (free) Little LFO from LittleIO. There are some additional ones, like from Pongasoft the AB Switch thing and the CV-Analyser (that can as well be used for modulation by scrubbing through the displayed waveform).
