Dear everyone,

any experiences with this (especially in comparison with Miroslav/Chambre/Euphonic)?

Hi OldGoat,

I bought that sound library a few years ago. But I can't say that I use it often because I find its general sound character pretty 'thin' and 'sterile', particularly compared to Miroslav or to the (IMHO still state of the art) Synclavier Orchestra Library which sound much fuller, warmer, more vivid and richer if you will. The Woodwinds are okay, the percussion are also usable, but all in all this library is pretty standard. I consider that library as a good add-on but not as a 'must have'.

Thank you very much for this, Marcus!

I would really love to hear a demo from this orchestra refill, I didn't see one on the product website!

Maybe is that a browser problem, because there's a little demo. Look under the "Add to cart" button, there's the word "Demo" and then a tiny Play button: there you go! :puf_bigsmile: It's not the most useful demo ever made though...

It's not good at all, go with Euphonic and then add Miroslav as its nice to layer up both for really fat sections!

The demo sound nice, but 149 dollars...it is a little bit like buying a cat in a poke..
[offtopic]oh, google-translate tells me that english-speaking people buy pigs in this proverb...I never eat a pig 'cause a pig is a cop...cats are only purchased to serve them.[/offtopic]

flangey: welcome to RT, thanks for your comment!
