I wish there was some more Information regarding these Refills. Yes, they are most likely sample based but what I would like to know is, what devices are used within reason. For example: Combinator patches, NNXT patches, Dr. Octo Rex Patches and so on. This would help me to get a hint how flexible the patches could be (if these are not just simple sample libraries). There is no demo available, so a bit more infromation would be nice.

The details page for each of these Refills contains at least Soundcloud-Tracks:

With the 10% discount code, I got the three of them for $54 total. Also, if you haven't already, check out the Refill bundle on Impact Soundworks' website -- you can get all their other refills together for $99, which is an absolute steal for the quality and quantity of content there.

edit: Oh, the $99 bundle is now actually on sale for $75. Even better!

Could you tell something about it?
Are these Refills from the same quality as the other Refills from Impact Soundworks? Are these also Combinator patches or just loops? I am so curious

Thanks!

They all include combinators and can be played on the keyboard like other instruments.

ReForged is in the vein of Impact Steel and Juggernaut: lots of percussive sounds, including both huge percussion and more odd/intimate sounds. It includes combinators with tons of one-shot samples in NNXTs, and also a bunch of rex loops based on them.

Mega Brass is more of a one-trick pony, but if you're in the market for big, loud, dramatic brass sounds, it should be useful stuff. You can also pop open the combi patches and disable the synth layers if you want, or just load the individual NNXTs for brass by itself.

Shou Drum is melodic percussion, with a bunch of different patches that were recorded in different ways -- though it's a different type of sound than Resonance: Emotional Mallets, the quality of production is similar to what you'd expect if you've used that.

Thanks! Just got this ReFill and scrolled through the Combi's. I've been missing the dramatic brass sounds for quite some time and this will fill that gap for sure. Good stuff.

Mega brass has a low number of patches but is now the gold standard for trap and hip-hop brass in reason, if you do trap music drop whatever you're doing and buy immediately.

I bought the Shou Drum and I was expecting more content. 26 NNXTs, 18 Combinators, and the required samples which only consist of 17 sounds from various mics and pitches. Kind of sparse IMO.
Its only $15 so its not the end of the world.
