Yamaha Soft Focus and Symphonic Patches?

Hi--
Has anyone tried to re-create these iconic presets in the rack, using stock or REs?

* Symphonic is a chorus type patch originally on the SPX90 and has been used on 100s of classic records to thicken up bass, vocals, buses even.

* Soft Focus is a multi-effect patch from the FX500, a combo of compression, delay, reverb, and symphonic, and was used heavily by shoegaze bands like Slowdive.

Anyone come close to these ?
