Thanks Nav
As joey said, this synth is amazing but it is so ignored its unreal. No refills for it as far as I know and no tutorials either (apart from that french one).
The dev said he would update the fsb with lots more sounds well over a year ago and also do some tutorials but nothing came of it.
I think the GUI puts people off, I find it quite hard to get my head around but when messing with the synth I can feel its amazing potential..maybe its a case of me just putting in the work to learn it properly or are others a little bemused by the GUI too?
Anyway, I will probably grab the refill when I get back from my holiday.

Yeah such a shame, this synth is a real unsung hero. Sadly the UI does make it harder for non-experts to program it, but the sounds it makes are brilliant.

I agree with the synth having tons of potential, the unusual GUI making it harder to wrap your head around and Navi having teased out some really, really strong sounds here! Love it! On my to buy list!

Well the dev is Rob Currie (z3ta) so that says a lot for what is under the hood, just wish there was a more accessible way to discover the nuts and bolts.
I really hope he returns with another synth at some point.

Or at least with the additional Revival sound banks that he promised back in PUF times... :P
I mean, I love Revival and his other RE and I know life gets in the way sometimes, but still...

FYI:

Rene Ceballos is credited with the original z3ta along with many other of the Cakewalk synths which originated as the product line of his own company rgc Audio which CW acquired around about 2005. I'm sure Bob himself would point out he wasn't responsible for the creation of any of those instrument nor the now ubiquitous sfz format that went with them.

He was a big DSP man with Cakewalk though and was responsible for much of their plug-in output including being involved with the evolution of Z3ta 2 after Rene and Cakewalk's paths took different directions.

Yeah, maybe I didn't specify that he didn't create z3ta but had a lot of involvement with it. My bad. But still his pedigree as a dev is obvious with his involvement with cakewalk.

Excellent news! This is an instant buy for me. I think Revival was the first RE I bought, and I still love it.

As Ronin & Eusti have said, it can certainly be a bit daunting when attempting to build patches from scratch, but it sounds extraordinary. Very rich and warm, and quite unlike anything else. (I have to say I love JP's organs too, but Revival is a very different beast.)

Thanks, everyone for the positive feedback :)
Yep, I can confirm that it wasn't that easy to make this ReFill, but it was worth the efforts.

Very excited about this! Like others have said I think the sound of this synth is so rich but I haven't really been able to wrap my head around it.
I think those pads I heard at the end of the YouTube are worth the price of admission!

Ooooo yeah like this refill. Tis a fiddly synth to make sounds with, would certainly benefit from an update with recent SDK improvements, although I doubt we will ever see that!

Seems like a preset designers dream, as most users I would guess will find it difficult and time consuming to program quality sounds, other than the FM bells and saw basses it does with ease!

It can do amazing layered evolving pads with all the mod options and the attack and release phase oscillators, also surprisingly interesting percussive hits once you get round the odd way to dial in such things.
Reason 12 - Horrible plastic M-Audio Oxygen 49 and a battered pair of Sony MDR V6 cans
