Hi All!

As the title suggests, I'm looking for the lately or solid bass as a refill?

Thanks!

You could make one yourself using the trial of PX7 or FM4, if you have no luck finding one.

As a refill? ;) It's a vital little part of WBF R2 but just 0,00001% of it.

Thank's for letting me know the existence of that bass in the Bitley refills, going to use it in my next project:-)

EDIT: I threw in the Lately Bass in my current tune :)

Sorry but what is the WBF R2, a refill?

And to previous posters - I don't have any Re's at present.

Also, where can I find that Lately Bass....Bitley Refill?

Hello,

I have a link in my signature to those huuuge refills.
Bought them some weeks ago, and now I'm hooked. Really really good value with that quality sounddesign, and now they are on almost half price discount.

WBF refers to the "Way Beyond Fairlight" refill.

Good tune. That bass sounds similar to some bass in Megasaur !

Just to be totally clear, you want a whole lately/solid bass refill and not just a patch? there are a few in the factory sound bank, tell me what they were lacking and maybe I can whip something up for you.

Don't know what you mean VHS about a whole lately / solid bass as opposed to just a patch. Just a patch really, of both. Pity there wasn't a Yamaha TX81Z vst.

Yeah seen the Lately patches in the FSB. They weren't that great to me. I now see that this Way Beyond Fairlight costs $55 and may have the same issue when I get it.

Bit like when I got the Korg M1 piano refill and it's not a patch (excuse the pun) on the actual Korg M1 Piano16 (which is what I wanted) that's available on the Korg M1 vst version, plus there's loads of other piano's available on there that are as good in different ways.

The WBF ReFill samples are different than the FSB. I believe there is an NNXT patch and several Combinator patches.

There is also the Solid Bass patch for the PX7 which sounds fantastic and spot-on as well.

That's exactly the right question, Harald. :)

@ the OP: If you (mainly but not only) want a very convincing replica of the "Lately Bass" patch then get the Antidote RE and Soundcells' Refill called "Antidote Signature", which you can find here: http://www.soundcells.de/products/rack- ... signature/

And as a kind of "byproduct" you'll get tons of other fantastically programmed patches for one of the best sounding synthesizers that uses subtractive synthesis.

@Marcus: Thanks for recommending!

And if the thread-starter would say 'Yes' ... i would like to attach the 'Solid Bass' Antidote patch that i have made for the Antidote Signature ReFill.

Of course a real FM Solid Bass maybe the best solution (so to say, if you really want a Moog then use a real Moog) - but i use the Antidote version of this patch a lot, and i often think how well it works (to me it has this great & important 'dry' tone thats needed)

Today is your lucky day or whenever you read this post. I highly recommend this refill. Also, make sure to contact the guy (Very nice guy that does good business). This was one of my best investments ever, along with Bitley's WBF R2 as far as reason refills (You can find lately bass patches in WBF R2 as well).

The lately and solid bass patches originally come from this device (Yamaha TX81Z). All the basses from this device sound really good in my honest opinion! Link below.
