looking for some new parsec patches for inspiration, starting points and just using.
anyone want to comment on this one: https://shop.propellerheads.se/product/ ... up-parsec/ in propshop?
(hmm, wonder if i picked that one just 'cause it has l _lots_ of patches...)
any non-propshop (or other propshop) recommendations?
i have no particualr style in mind just some variety.
parsec patch refills?
Never used that refill I'm afraid but if you haven't seen this refill I can highly recommend it, I get loads of inspiration from it when I feel like a play around with Parsec.
I have embraced Allihoopa. Come listen and play with my crap Figure loops here:

They really are crap.

The thing I like about Navi's Parsec Refills aside from the fact they sound great is that the patches invite some experimentation and have helped me become more familiar with the Synth.anko wrote:yep thnx, the bundle of those 2 is also on my list.NaviRetlav wrote:You might really like our two ReFills. I like Harald's (Soundcells) Parsec refill too, some well defined sounds in that one.

that first point is a good selling point for me on the Navi ones.
also, yep i like the sounds in the demos of the souncells one too, nice to hear the quality contines throughout..
heh, i'm rapidly getting back to the start, where i couldn't decide.. oh, well, the old equation, more patches, more joy, less dosh.
In my experience, DNA Labs does great work. Their Parsec refills (I believe there are several) are all strong. I've got all of them and love them all. Listen to the demos for sure and pick what sounds most usable to you.

If it helps at all, I thought the re-up one had a bit more of an electronic/edm flavor while the other four smaller ones had more of a trap flavor. Happy shopping.anko wrote:thanks for the input JNeffLind. actually i have very varied interests and they all sound pretty good to me from the samples. sure makes that super-big re up one i originally mentioned look worthwhile.
