I love using Reason for multitracking my hardware synths. I just connect the audio outs from the gear to my trusty Balance interface and then noodle away on the keys. Quantization is very rarely used, and if it is, I quantize the audio directly. It started with the fact that my AMT8 midi interface was connected to another computer, then I realized that hey I don't need MIDI at all with these new functions.

Wow this is lush...very nice.  I love your workflow...it helps if you can play!
I have an old U110, I remember loving the string sounds on it, maybe I'll fire it up.
