What did you use for the Mellotron sounds - is it the Retron?

I think you are referring to the NN-XT "Tape Strings".... ?

Really nice intro, enjoyed every second of it. I like it in terms of composition but I miss some spacy FXs, I feel they would make the track even better. Right now, I prefer the intro a little bit more than the development. Mix wise I feel that the pluck that comes around 1:50 is a little bit too loud as well as the strings - they overpower the drums.

Thank you for the feedback - it is sometimes hard to be objective of your own work when (as you probably know!) you listen to it looped, literally hundreds of times, in the production process...

Some more retro space FX and drop down the hard pluck and strings a little later in the piece - got it!

OK - toned down the hard pluck and spacey strings and added more FX at 0:00, 0:59, 1:43 & 2:39;
