Writing music for vocals would be interesting to do someday! That's an area I haven't had the opportunity to explore much just yet.

Because these were written as the soundtrack to a recently released visual novel, Sol Hemochroma, I did want to keep things at least somewhat sedate so that the music doesn't completely overwhelm what you're reading as it plays. I still squeezed in as much depth and melodic interest as I could, though, as that's just how I like to do things

The opening of the first track reminded me of early New Order; just the guitar sounds I suppose. It sounds like it's missing some singing, or maybe the melodic instruments could be more forward. But I suppose that might not suit its job as a soundtrack. Pleasant listening.
