(Synthwave + More) Album Teaser - 100% Reason!

Hey guys! Just put together a quick teaser for an upcoming album by the project I'm in, Zeta! I'll be sharing full lengths when it's done but hopefully this will give you an idea of what it's about

While the whole thing has been a huuuuge learning experience for me (learning to mix vocals, learning to mix something other than metal) it's been really fun. Reason is such a creative and inspiring DAW to work in. Next time it'll sound even better!

I like very much your . What have you used to make that " Vhsish" sound? Audiomatic? Ozone ? Kramer Tape ? Scream4?

I'm figuring out (and I considered to make to go out of the box).

Is really gritty and 80s sound.

I like how you incorporated guitar into the tracks in a way that fit the songs well. It's funny, your user name looked very familiar when I've seen it in other discussions on this forum and it never hit me until reading your original post... I used to listen to your music. Your name and music would pop up quite a bit on the Sevenstring forum back in the Bulb days.

Thanks Karim! Yeah it's all Ozone on the master bus. I would have liked to try out Kratos but I spent too much the last couple of months!!

Ahh cheers Strangers! That is indeed me yeah many of the tracks were written by my girlfriend, then I chimped all over them haha. Tastefully though...I hope thanks for listening!

Really good stuff. I remember hearing this type of stuff in the 80s. It got a heavy Depeche Mode vibe to it. Black Celebration to be exact.

Thanks man! Yeah I mean between me, my partner and our singer I think we've got a nice blend of styles. Learned a lot through my mistakes in mixing this. Like being an instrumental guy I've never had to mix vocals before, so I think next time I know what to avoid in terms of leaving room in the mix for voice. Also trying to get smaller mixes to sound better with less effects *before* I slam them through mastering. So much to learn still!
