I'm finding that using the harmonising function within Polar is proving to be the best approach for getting these sounds.Arrant wrote:Well this is going to be unique.. Pads and textures are a bit tricky

Thanks, Noel!Noel G. wrote:
Yes, the rules allow ABL3's audio to go through any "effects" in Reason, even if that effect is via another Rack Extension synth.
My entry is in: "Revolt of The Neutrino".
Sweet little synth that ABL3 !

I listened to the other contestants. Some are really good: Pretty tough competition.
Good luck all!

And here's mine:
It's basically a psytrance track like I would normally do, just within the constraints of the rules - all sounds except drums and one vocal sample are ABL3. I'm very satisfied with this, it's a track I'd happily release outside of contest-context and the exercise proved that the 303 can be the only synth I needed for something like this

That's an excellent track for a bank heist sequence in an action moviethefixr wrote: I threw in for this. I got lucky and was finishing up this track right before I saw the contest announcement.

hey peeps, here's my (maybe first) entry.
alltough i did start a new project, i suddenly remembered i did a track 2 years ago using the Phuturetone Analog Groove Boxes refill, the Thor emulation of the 303. that track was called ER-499...
So here is ER-500. all ABL3 for synths & a majour restyling of the original.
let me add that "Step note recorder" makes very good friends with ABL 3
good luck all , enjoy listening, i'll listen to any other track the comming days & comment as well !
Jan
How about a white noise generator or sample? Would that be permitted?
