Luna has integration with the UAD plugins for the channel strips and very nice tape saturation stuff. I wouldn't say it's better sound quality but it sounds more analog by default and some people like that.

I haven't tried Logic's yet but I think Steinberg's Spectralayers is the best at stem separation by far. I would take a look at it if that's the main thing you're interested in...

And having this feature integrated in the DAW is handy but it's completely fine to have a separate app to do it imho

Definitely give the demo a try. I've tried to get into Logic a few times and it just doesn't do it for me. And you also get locked-in on Apple land if you care about that.
