Re: RND Generator Randomizer from Lectric Panda
ah, fair enough. I was under the impression RND did some kind of MIDI generation of its own, but it sounds like I’m wrong about that. No, you're right, RND can do MIDI generation and randomization of incoming notes, but in this case only probability, pitch and velocity can be modified. That's why I...

Re: RND Generator Randomizer from Lectric Panda
You can't randomize note backwards with players - and this is even more true if you play live. ;) You can only add some random delay, and I suggest you to try Note Humanizer which does exactly this. that really should ONLY apply when talking about offsetting incoming notes that a user is playing. y...

Re: RND Generator Randomizer from Lectric Panda
Quick question, can RND randomise incoming note positions (i.e. set them randomly back or forward a few ticks?) If not, what's the best RE Player to do that? (I'm looking for a real-time equivalent to the Randomize MIDI option that's in the Reason Tool Window) You can't randomize note backwards wit...

Re: Tribute Wavetable Synthesizer by Speo Music now in the shop!
Congratulations to Speo, this is a very nice synth, even the controversial GUI design. ;) I'd like to ask two questions. Re: MIDI channel filter
The problem is that Reason is itself a sort of MIDI channel filter, as it only transmits on channel 1 to VST plug-ins, and no player can change that.

Re: CV Ranger and CV Pad from Tonicmint in Shop
Nice tools. The Pad inspired me a RE idea I'd like to suggest to Tonicmint and the developers community. A CV generator inspired from the combined Figure and Spread modulators from UVI Shades, with four CV outputs and CV inputs.

Re: Turn Reason into an Arranger Keyboard
THIS is the problem, i ONLY want to hear the arp'ed notes and Kompulsion as a PLAYER do not allow for that. The moment i turn off recieve notes for the NN-XT then the Kompulsion stops recieving notes because they are tied together. XSynth, I don't understand what your problem is. As soon as you put...

Re: PSYH - Kick Bass Commander in the shop
Once the formula for most dance floor impact became established, there occured this "great regression towards the mean" where any sort of experimentation/cross-pollination with other genres and styles disappeared and the entire genre just turned inward on itself. Still frustrates me to this day. I ...

KBBB is the worst thing that happened to psychedelic goa trance at the brink of 2000. And someone made a device to make it even easier?! Good luck :D Give me a track title. Name the beast so I know what to fear! I think this summarizes everything ! :puf_bigsmile: [media]https://www.youtube.com/watc...

Re: UMPF & Combinator for Fx
Seems to be working for me on sample 1. I can't get the CV inputs to do anything for incoming audio, though. Challism, I stumbled on the problem again and made a few experiments: it seems to only happen when you reset this device using the context menu. It kills both LFOs oscillation and the scalin...

Re: UMPF & Combinator for Fx
The mod matrix only seems to affect the samples being played in the device (not on the external audio input). Either that, or I'm doing something wrong. I just got this device a short time ago and am still learning it. Could you try, as an example, to assign a LFO to the pitch of a sample ? On my s...

Hi all,
I have also noticed that the modulation matrix in this RE seems totally defective (UMPF Club works as expected). Can someone confirm this ?

Re: PSQ-1684 Rack Extension Appreciation Thread
Thanks for the explanations. I'm starting to understand with my attempts at finding working values failed. But I think there's a problem with your math expression: CV Mod Matrix Amount = (Note CV In - S1 Value) * 1.27 All the terms in your formula are constants or result of user inputs. I'd suggest ...

Many thanks to all the contributors for the nice info and music in this thread. Can someone answer this question: if I use the mod matrix in to apply note CV to the sequencer value just like Artotaku does in his recent complex arpeggios example, and have the sequencer rotaries set to their default p...

I'd suggest some Mutable Instruments modules, especially Clouds. They are open source digital audio sources and effects originating from Eurorack that have already been ported into VCV format.

Re: ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION about the proposed "REs with known bugs" list
I would just like to add that such a bug list could also be useful to users in a more practical way. If a user stumbles on an unexpected behaviour in a RE he owns, he may first consult the list to see if there's a known issue before going back to the manual, asking for help in the forum or create a ...

Aaa. Thanks. And there the story ends. Reason 10.4 until the day I die :). Thanks again. MrFigg, in fact it is actually possible to do it in Reason standalone with polyphony and velocity, but you need a few additional software, and I won't say it's simple. But I give detailed, step by step instruct...

That’s the weird thing, the gate signal Is maxed out. It is probably something in the signal splitter that remove the gate signals “original” velocity value. Re: Tutorial: VST MIDI out in Reason with polyphony and velocity
At the moment I send midi data out via the EMI\Midi Out hit the device that I want Midi data from (e.g. Instachord) and then bring the data back into Reason via surface controller and then I can record it to Seq. or play instruments with it. This is how I tried to do it first, using LoopBe30 and th...
