Re: Announcing Reason 13

It's useful in the context you mentioned of wanting a list of "all compressors", because that's exactly the type of device category that will be included even if they're not customizable. 'Compressors' was an example, did you look at the image of part of my list? If we are talking favorite lists of...

Re: Announcing Reason 13

Ah ok I see. Are you sure these devices can't be put inside the patch favourite folders? I'm pretty sure, because the left side panel is now exclusively reserved for devices. Also, in all screenshots and video demos, there are no devices visible in any way, shape or form, in the new browser window....

However when comparing the 2 (The not HZ Legend), I've found some differences
That is because The Legend is a MiniMoog emulation, and VK-2 is not. VK-2 expands on the first Viking synth, which is based on the Moog Voyager.

Re: Announcing Reason 13

As you can see from the pic above, the favourite lists are still there. This has been discussed before. The favorite lists are for presets in the preset browser. We are talking about favorites for the devices in the left-side panel (where the devices are). Several users, me included, have setup man...

Re: Blamco Equalizer Pack vs Red Rock Equivalents

I would suggest to also look at Kuassa's AT-bundle, also currently on sale. Those give you a few more EQ-options. They don't have the low+high cut filter, but the Red Rock one is free anyway.

I've never seen the Blamsoft EQ bundle on sale for at least the last few years.

Re: Announcing Reason 13

I'm already getting to terms with the idea of having a default-preset for each device and make favorite lists with that. Thinking a bit more about this: having a default preset obviously won't work for those REs that don't load presets, and there are quite a few of those :? My prediction is that we...

Re: Announcing Reason 13

The floating browser is my biggest concern as well. Is't it weird that they got rid of the floating tools window and sell it as a major workflow enhancement. And at the same time making the browser a floating window? I think the new browser window is inevitable, it is impossible to fit all that tag...

Re: Can't buy synthetic Rig 4... wt????

Just checked to be certain. I have 18 REs from the rig, but I can still add it to my card and proceed to checkout. So it must be some issue with your account. As I said, time to log a support ticket. I'm sure they get you sorted.

Also they can make it interactive with a rotary know so you could see and hear the effect while playing the sequence. and comit after the fact.
Enlightenspeed's Note Humanizer and Note Alter players are interactive. You can then commit with the send-to-track option.

Re: Announcing Reason 13

Case in point: you ask for velocity humanization, which is basically adding small randomization to velocity. No is not. Yes, it is. Human interaction is random by nature. Any tool in another DAW that calls non-random changes 'humanizing' is fooling you, and if it is NOT non-random, then it is rando...

The sequencer enhancements are not so much. I would love seeing more power tools in the midi editor, like strumming, velocity humanization controls like in FL and stuff like that. The onl new thing they are showcasing is that you can do ramps and the workflow itself with the split view that has cha...

So it seems that wrong scroll behaviour of the sequencer which is major workflow issue for years is still ignored and it's not addressed at all: Single click on a clip will open it in the edit-view zoomed to that clip. But here for me more question - how to make filmstrip from 3D object. Not find enough info for Blender or any other 3D.
Blender can export the animation as separate images for each frame. I'm not aware of a frame-stitching tool inside Blender, but it should be possible to script that in Blender.

I’m very curious on the implementation of the continuous LP/HP filter in PolyTone. I’m not aware of any DSP algorithm doing that.
There are several filter REs that have this feature. Catalyst from Turn2on does it, and I think Red Queen EQ as well.
