Splice - Let's get Reason supported!
It's interesting. Is it just me or is there a big prediction of collaboration becoming very popular? No idea where it came from or if it will eventuate.

Then every DAW or device that "allows" loading any sound into samplers and audio tracks, including the use of microphones, is guilty of what you're saying. Propellerhead are giving you access to these sounds on their website - to use, edit, remix. It's not like you went and ripped it off youtube, P...

NAMM TIME 2015 !!
I started to think wooaw akai does way cool stuff now and then I watched this :D Yeah that thing had some pretty shocking teaser videos at the start. I also thought Casio's entry was very lame, considering they went for a Star Wars space ship shape, guess they are trying to stand out from the crowd...

satire image "propellerhead crew"
The picture in the original post is very amateurish and full of vulgarity. Not that I'm some kind of prude, but it just seems out of place in our happy new forum. No big deal, but to assume Props don't listen to their customers is silly. It just seems like many of the forum regulars think that the ...

RE News: DNA Labs's first Rack Extension announced: Hydronexius 6
I always ask the question in Props forum if this company was reputable because of their synth page. Never heard of them and their synth combis look a little weird. Does anyone have any of those synths combis, do they look like that in the rack, and what do they sound like????????? I ran into their ...

Newtrols in the shop
I really like my ModPanels and I agree Hamu's prices are excellent and if you are in to CV his devices are invaluable. I am super surprised though to see this nice new black version in the shop, that I can't simply 'upgrade' to. The only way for me to do this is to buy them outright and make my thre...

I think soon I will own an analog synth, at the moment it's looking like a Korg MS but that could change.

Side Chain Compression?
I don't get it ...where is your bass synth ? i mean where is the instrument you're sidechaining with your Kong ? If you build it, they will come... There is no bass synth yet, nor anything else occupying the kick's frequencies - but when there is, I add a compressor to the end of its signal chain a...

Side Chain Compression?
If I am understanding the question properly, I like to use it from my kick to anything taking up the same frequencies like basslines etc, and I like to have it set up like this - easily accessible and ready to go:

I don't think they were more edm focused in the past. Still sounds like them to me. Maybe you grew out of them ? Their last two albums were very rock focused, before that they were massively electronic all the way back to the start. They were big in the early hardcore rave scene too. It was a big c...

I still have an interest in anything these guys do, Liam Howlett is a long time seasoned veteran, but the emphasis on rock is not why I got in to them in the first place. I guess they didn't grow with me as I am still very edm focused like these guys used to be but aren't anymore. I have heard in i...

Discover is a new service of Propellerhead. It ties the products together. It's the main focus on the website right now because it is new. If you click on 'Products,' Reason is listed first. Also if you're familiar with the Propellerhead's website in the past, that cover image/video will chan...

It's just a .wav file it's not even multi tracked. If it was that easy I wouldn't have been scouring the net for years looking for acapellas and multi tracks wherever I can find them. 'It's just a beta' seems to be the excuse for anything negative about it, that was clever.

Ouch, good point.zeebot wrote: Its one thing uploading a track to youtube or soundcloud but when its being imported directly into a DAW for editing and use in a track that could potentially make money then I'm sure the owners of those copyrights would soon be on the phone to their lawyers.

Discover reminds me of the 'Jump to conclusions mat' from Office Space (1999).

While it's easy to find something to pick on out of a 20 minute video, the guy makes some valid points that are commonly shared with other users.

Kilpatrick Audio - Phenol!
The next time I have that kind of money to spend on a controller I intend to build a bespoke controller. One thing I don't get is gear lust for controllers. I have two keyboards and a padkontrol and I rarely use them. I probably will use them more in the future but I see people salivating over new ...
